VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
A. SUMMARY
TIMOR GAP, E.P. is the Timor-Leste’s National Oil Company which was established in 2011 under the Decree Law no. 31/2011. Its main objective is to act on behalf of the State, in conducting business within the petroleum and gas sector. Its activities vary from Onshore to Offshore and national to international.
B. VACANT POSITIONS
1. Junior Business Analyst – One Position
Main Responsibilities: support the Business Development Manager and the Downstream Business Unit in business development activities. The role includes collecting, organizing, and analyzing operational and financial data, preparing reports and dashboards, conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, and supporting feasibility studies and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience in business analysis, data analysis, financial analysis, market research, business development
The candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good knowledge of downstream oil and gas operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SAP, or Oracle is an advantage.
2. Junior Marketing – One Position
Main Responsibilities: support the Business Development Manager and Downstream Business Unit in marketing and business development activities. Duties include market research, gathering customer and competitor information, preparing reports and presentations, assisting in marketing campaigns and stakeholder events, and supporting meeting coordination, documentation, budget tracking, project monitoring, and other assigned tasks.
Qualification and Other Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field, minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. Experience in marketing, communication, or business development is an advantage.
The candidate should have an interest in marketing, branding, digital communication, and downstream oil and gas operations. Applicants must be able to conduct research, perform basic data analysis, and prepare reports.
C. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
All applicants must meet the following requirements: Proficiency in English and Tetum, both written and oral communications; must comply with the required qualifications, as indicated in each position. Knowledge of Portuguese and Indonesian language is a plus. Women applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
