TIMOR GAP Signed a Contract on January 18th with PT Tripatra Engineering for the Feasibility Study and Front-end Engineering for the Metinaro Petroleum Import Terminal Project

The contract award followed an international bidding process, which was in full compliance with the Timor-Leste government and TIMOR GAP E.P. internal contract bidding procedures.

The signing was carried out by Managing Director of Downstream Business Unit TIMOR GAP E.P., Francelino Boavida and Raymond Naidi Rasfuldi, President Director and CEO of PT TRIPATRA ENGINEERING (Tripatra) at an in-person meeting at TRIPATRA Head Quarters office located in Jakarta.

This project is based on the development of a Petroleum Import Terminal (PIT) to provide a strategic stock of petroleum fuels for the energy security of Timor-Leste in the event of supply chain disruptions.

The PIT facility overall work scope is a marine facility to provide mooring for petroleum product tankers linked to an onshore tank farm for the storage of Diesel, Petroleum, Aviation Fuel, LPG and a Lubricant Storage Warehouse.

The PT Tripatra Engineering contract scope of work will be to provide an updated feasibility study, followed by the Front-End Engineering (FEED) for the project over a 10-month period.
